This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in our growing IT organization, ensuring our team has reliable, secure, and high-performing technology every day. As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be one of the primary escalation points for IT service requests and a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, delivering exceptional support while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes. You’ll own and enhance IT infrastructure, endpoint management, and cloud services, partnering with teams across the company to ensure compliance to industry regulations and standards. This is a role for a proactive, hands-on technologist with a customer-service mindset, who thrives on solving complex problems, streamlining operations, and exploring emerging tools (especially AI) to elevate efficiency and innovation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience supporting regulated IT environments using cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and flexibly in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Relevant IT certifications are highly valued (such as: CompTIA A+/Network+/Security, Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and balance IT Service requests with ongoing project work.
- Extensive experience with workstation deployment tools – Intune, JAMF, SCCM, PDQ, etc.
- Deep knowledge of workstation management (Windows, macOS, Linux, MDM, patching, endpoint protection).
- Advanced troubleshooting of common operating systems – Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android.
- Proven experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, agentic AI frameworks) to design, implement, and automate internal business workflows.
- Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and strong attention to detail.
Work Location:
- This is a full-time, onsite position, requiring five days per week in our downtown Boston office.
- The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $120,000 - $150,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
