Team / Division Overview

DWS’ infrastructure business has a more than 25-year heritage: it was first established in 1994 as NSW State Super (a large Australian pension fund) sought to create an infrastructure investment portfolio through direct investments and funds. This business became RREEF Infrastructure in 2004, which has since become a core part of the asset management business that is today DWS Group.

The private infrastructure business manages more than €17bn euros across equity and debt, including the flagship Pan European Infrastructure (“PEIF”) series and the complementary lower mid cap Sustainable Growth Infrastructure Fund (“SGIF”). DWS Infrastructure is currently fundraising for two funds:

  • PEIF IV – fourth fund in an award-winning, top quartile European mid-cap strategy. As of February 2025, raised €1.6bn of a target €4.0 bn.

  • SGIF – first fund in a complementary lower mid-cap strategy, focused on the sustainability thematic. As of February 2025, raised €330m of a target €500m.

As part of the Infrastructure Specialist team, you will help to develop and maintain client relationships on behalf of the infrastructure platform. You will report into the Head of Infrastructure Coverage and Investor Relations, and will work closely with the Infrastructure Investment Team, the Global Illiquid Specialist team, and the Global Client Coverage Division.

The role will include close involvement in the formulation and maintenance of investment marketing strategies, processes and materials, participating in interactions with prospective and existing investors and consultants, gathering of market intelligence, participation in internal and external brand-building events, as well as a wide range of ad hoc investor relations processes and activities. Along with a preference for prior knowledge of the wider private markets alternative industry, the candidate must be a team player, be highly detail orientated and have strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
