What You'll Do
- Act as a main point of contact for Team Member inquiries, resolving questions via inbound/outbound calls, ServiceNow tickets, and other channels by applying HR knowledge and research
- Provide Tier 1 support across core HR service areas, including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and accommodations
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures
- Identify key moments in the Team Member experience and partner with leaders to deliver positive and memorable experiences
- Offer feedback and recommendations to improve HR services, programs, and procedures
- Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other reference materials to support HR operations
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation
- Support HR projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of HR experience (HR Generalist experience in a service delivery or operations environment highly preferred)
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred)
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, or Greenhouse (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written expression along with attentive listening
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Customer service approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Flexibility to adjust your work schedule based on business needs
- Demonstrable ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
