***Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (2-3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates with East Coast working hours as a prerequisite.”

Our client is an award-winning Payment Services brand known for their iconic marketing initiatives. We are searching for a Senior Hospitality Director who will be responsible for overseeing an Americas Hospitality Calendar of events associated with client’s property partnerships. This position will have a strong focus on project management, global events and product and service integrations.

This position is best suited for a candidate inspired by working in a team environment with a diverse group of people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. This position requires a strong and advanced skills within the F1 space, providing leadership to our team’s delivery of hospitality, project management, asset utilization and agency integration.

Our future Senior Hospitality Director should be someone with experience leading and hosting in Motorsports, Golf and Entertainment, coupled with a customer-centric mentality possessing the social savvy required to work across multiple marketing subject areas. Formula 1 experience is required.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments and agency partners
  • Oversee Global Hospitality Programming for Formula 1 for races across multiple geographic regions and events
  • Oversee Americas Hospitality Programming for Golf and Entertainment properties
  • Collaborate with the Americas team managing the multiple properties’ team relationship  
  • Serve as the client liaison for Americas/B2Bl Hospitality and Product Service Integration
  • Manage an Americas based team to plan and execute high profiled B2C/B2B events
  • Integrate client’s products and services into sponsorship programs
  • Serve as an experiential expert to ideate on innovative ways to convey client messaging through events and hospitality
  • Oversee B2B programming and Executive onsite management
  • Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations
  • Develop sales decks and presentations to be presented to internal and external audiences
  • Support the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical, bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industry
  • Spanish speaker required, Portuguese is a plus!

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A passion for hospitality, sports, entertainment & travel 
  • A passion for events/experiences, ranging from large-scale custom experiences to small-scale turnkey events 
  • 7–10-year(s) work experience in hospitality or experiential marketing and proven experience managing VIP and executive groups 
  • Experience working internationally or as part of a global team is a benefit, as too if you have first-hand experience working at a major event such as Formula 1, Olympics, FIFA World Cup etc we’d love to hear from you  
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to communicate concisely, persuasively and effectively, across multiple mediums 
  • Think of yourself as a people leader who is invested in the success of the team first 
  • History of building positive relationships, both internally and externally – finding opportunities to make valuable contributions with every interaction 
  • Proactive, critical thinker who thrives when the pressure is on 
  • Not afraid to “pitch in”, “roll up your sleeves” and get it done. You take initiative. No task is too big or too small 
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, handle deadlines, coordinate key timelines and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail 
  • Exhibits emotional intelligence and can adapt to working with various personalities 
  • Results driven and capable of working independently 
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organization skills and maintain that standard of excellence and consistency across your team 
  • Have demonstrated experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise and you are reliable and trustworthy 
  • Can lead client meetings, staff planning and keep all parties on task, on time and on budget 
  • Able to forecast and mitigate issues/challenges effectively 
  • Willing to work non-traditional hours including weekend/holiday travel 
  • Willingness to travel to various event sites throughout the U.S. and Globally – a valid passport will be required  
  • Travel required (around 50%) 
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Fluency in Portuguese is a significant plus 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • All applicants will need to provide proof of COVID vaccination or contact the organization’s HR team if eligible for an exemption. 
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: High (45%-75%)

 

L6: The base range for this position is $90,000 – 120,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications
