Position Overview

Aimtal is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our fully remote team. If you're a versatile creative thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment — and loves turning brand stories into impactful visuals — this is the role for you.


As a Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll lead the creation of engaging digital and print assets, shape brand identities, support animated content, and help build user-friendly web experiences. You will collaborate with Aimtal’s marketing strategists, project managers, and other creatives to understand business needs and incorporate stakeholder feedback into design decisions. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior designers and contributing to the improvement of internal processes.


Responsibilities

Design & Creative Execution

  • Oversee design projects for specific clients from conception to delivery.
  • Develop visual strategies and design assets for animated video content, including storyboards and materials for motion designers, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
  • Design original visual content, including layouts, infographics, brand guides, illustrations, and marketing imagery.
  • Create and manage digital and print designs for marketing campaigns, websites, social media, and advertising.
  • Design and maintain websites and landing pages on platforms such as HubSpot, Webflow, Wix, or WordPress, improving user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
  • Build and maintain brand identity and integrity for clients.
  • Produce graphic and design assets for a variety of formats, including videos, social media posts, long-form content, and landing pages.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure all deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Understand the larger picture of marketing campaigns and how design integrates into their components.


Collaboration, Communication, and Operations

  • Collaborate with Account Management, Growth Marketing, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design assets
  • Meet with account teams and clients to understand design goals, branding, and visual identity.
  • Partner with developers to communicate design specifications and requirements for website projects.
  • Play a key role in design reviews and feedback sessions with clients and internal teams.
  • Consult and advise clients and colleagues on design recommendations during meetings and presentations.
  • Audit websites to propose improvements based on best practices in design and development.
  • Create processes and systems for design operations to ensure seamless collaboration across departments.
  • Mentor other designers and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with designers, marketing strategists, project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver creative solutions for marketing campaigns, programs, and projects.
  • Consult and advise clients and internal teams on design recommendations during meetings and presentations.
  • Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions with clients and project management teams.
  • Audit websites and propose improvements based on design and web development best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers to communicate design specifications and requirements for website projects.
  • Create wireframes and translate them into polished visual composites using a user-centered design approach.
  • Design and prepare storyboards and assets for video production.
  • Develop low-complexity animations.
  • Create and manage digital and print designs for campaigns, websites, social media, and advertising.
  • Design and maintain client websites and landing pages on platforms such as HubSpot, Webflow, Wix, or WordPress, with a focus on UX and UI best practices.
  • Produce original visual content, including illustrations, infographics, guides, and marketing imagery.
  • Oversee design projects from conception to delivery, maintaining high-quality standards for all deliverables.
  • Build and maintain brand identity and integrity for clients.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and design operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Aimtal team and clients to understand brand goals and visual identity, while keeping the larger marketing strategy in mind.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or at an ad agency, working as an art director.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates storytelling across multiple platforms.
  • Background in branding design, with interest in visual storytelling and data visualization.
  • High proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Basic motion graphics skills.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas with marketers, executives, product managers, designers, and developers.
  • Skilled in leading discussions, presentations, and design-thinking exercises.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced designers.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and in a fully virtual workplace.
  • Strong organizational abilities with proven self-management in remote environments.
  • Able to prioritize, manage multiple projects, problem-solve, and adapt when necessary.
  • Effective in both written and verbal communication for online channels and meetings.
