Galatea Associates is seeking a Senior Financial Software Consultant to join our growing team!
In this role you will work closely with clients and teammates to understand business needs, develop technical solutions, and drive delivery across a range of technologies and client environments. Through this work, you will help develop the systems that support global liquidity and capital flow.

What You’ll Do
Drive Project Delivery - Work with client stakeholders to clarify requirements, evaluate priorities, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Leverage AI agents for design, coding, and testing to accelerate delivery and reduce time to market.
Collaborate with Clients - Build strong client relationships, communicate technical concepts clearly, and help align business needs with practical solutions.
Solve Complex Problems - Analyze business and technical challenges, assess potential approaches, and develop effective solutions.
Drive Technical Execution - Lead the design, development, implementation, and testing of software solutions across client projects.
Develop Financial Expertise - Build an understanding of finance, capital markets, and the businesses our clients support.

Galatea is partnering with our client to design, architect, and deliver a next-generation, cloud-native investment accounting platform. The platform will integrate our client’s front-, middle-, and back-office services with the middle- and back-office capabilities of another firm, creating a connected, modern investment accounting solution.
Technical Landscape:Experience with these technologies is a plus, but not required.

Ownership - Ability to independently manage complex work, take initiative, and drive large-scale projects forward.
AI-Driven Innovation - Experience leveraging AI to accelerate and improve the design, implementation, and testing of changes.
Problem Solving - Ability to navigate complex problems and develop practical, business-focused solutions.
Client Collaboration - Ability to build strong relationships with clients and other Galateans through mutual respect and open communication.
Technical Foundation - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
Financial Interest - Interest in learning about finance, capital markets, and our clients’ businesses; prior experience in finance or capital markets is a plus.

Compensation
Candidates must be willing to work fully in the office based on their client assignment. Travel to client offices may also be required.
