THE ROLE: Senior Financial Planning Analyst
As the Senior Financial Planning Analyst, reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, you will be exposed to all aspects of the business and leadership and provide data-driven analysis in all aspects of the business and industry. As a high visibility role, you will work closely with senior business leaders to analyze the company's most critical financial and strategic issues and develop actionable conclusions and recommendations.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner on key strategic initiatives and analysis projects to help identify revenue opportunities, enhance margin, improve processes, and reduce costs, and provide insight into the performance of the company’s P&L.
- Assist in analyzing monthly and quarterly results, including progressive refinement of reporting and analysis.
- Review operational results with senior leaders, including trends/issues and opportunities, to support decision making.
- Deliver weekly reporting on business performance and KPI’s to senior leadership.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for management, investors, and the Board of Directors.
- Participate in month-end close as a strategic partner to the Accounting group.
- Develop key business metrics and analytics that will allow the Leadership team to clearly understand outcomes, as well as develop the modeling to accurately measure these metrics.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, working cross-functionally with business leaders to develop the strategic plan.
About You:
- BA/BS required, MBA a plus.
- You’re experienced in Financial Planning and Analysis, ideally with a focus on expense optimization, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to comfortably operate in a highly data-driven business environment.
- You’re an expert in Excel and PowerPoint and have experience with business performance management systems (Planful / Spotlight) and business intelligence software a plus. Experience working and extracting information from various data platforms (Tableau) is a plus.
- Your strategic approach and entrepreneurial mindset leans into your high level of integrity, accuracy, curiosity, and your ability to present impactful data driven recommendations to influence people at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
Pay Range: 110k - 125k
