Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Position Location: 35 Medford St., Somerville, MA 02143

Duties: Support the annual budgeting cycle and long-term strategic planning, ensuring alignment with the company objectives. Lead budget and headcount negotiations across departments, ensuring alignment with the organizational goals, and maintain the payroll model for accurate forecasting. Serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Services (S&M), and Systems and Finance (G&A) departments, offering financial guidance and insights to support effective business decisions. Lead the contract review process across the organization for all the software licenses, driving cost-saving initiatives through vendor consolidation and elimination. Responsible for monthly operating review, P&L review, and investor financial presentations for the executive team. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, ensuring consistent alignment with the corporate strategy and objectives. Analyze deviations and propose corrective actions. Maintain the Adaptive Insights enterprise planning platform to streamline processes and improve data integrity. Collaborate with the Accounting team to streamline processes, develop automation tools, and improve accuracy in financial reporting. Telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field of study and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have two years of experience in each of the following skills: producing Reports using Adaptive Insights, Excel and Power Point; using SQL and Database Management; creating, managing, and optimizing complex financial models, including sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and integrated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow); working in Enterprise resource planning systems; applying accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), including revenue recognition, accruals, and expense matching; following budgeting and forecasting processes; and performing variance analyses to identify trends and actionable recommendations.
