Fortegra is seeking a Finance Transformation & Reporting Analyst to support enterprise-level financial reporting, improve data accuracy, and translate financial results into clear operational insights. This role will partner across the organization and with our parent company, DB Insurance, to meet recurring and ad hoc reporting needs, strengthen reporting processes, and provide timely, reliable information that supports business decisions and executive leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in public accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, or finance transformation.
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP, Statutory, IFRS, and/or K-ICS reporting frameworks.
- Advanced Excel — financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas.
- Experience with Oracle Financials or comparable ERP platforms.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Korean language proficiency a strong plus.
Primary Job Functions:
Prepare and own quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports for executive leadership and DB Insurance, ensuring accuracy across GAAP, Statutory, IFRS, and K-ICS frameworks.
Lead reconciliation and validation of financial data — applying deep accounting judgment to ensure completeness, integrity, and auditability.
Drive automation of recurring reporting deliverables; identify and implement process improvements that strengthen financial controls.
Analyze financial trends, variances, and KPIs — translating complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership.
Serve as a cross-functional reporting partner across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Actuarial teams.
Own documentation of reporting processes, data definitions, and validation rules; support audit and compliance requirements.
Travel as needed to support global reporting responsibilities with DB Insurance.
