Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager, Corporate FP&A will be a valuable member of PerkinElmer’s Corporate FP&A team, partnering closely with senior finance and business leaders across the organization. 


Location: Remote - east coast


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage essential FP&A processes, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and monthly reporting/forecasting, including preparation of management reporting packages and variance commentary (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) for corporate FP&A leadership
  • Support senior finance leadership on preparation of business reviews that highlight key risks, opportunities and propose actions for improved growth and profitability
  • Support quarter-close and month-end close activities from an FP&A perspective, partnering with Accounting on timely, accurate results
  • Consolidate business-unit submissions into corporate-level budget and forecast files as part of the annual planning cycle
  • Partner with business unit finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting definitions and methodology

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 7+ years of related business experience in Finance (FP&A) with a track record of graduated and scalable success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle EPM and Business Objects
  • Team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity.
  • Strong ability to navigate through ambiguity, show initiative, and confidently manage conflict and difficult conversations especially during times of change.
  • Strategic thinker. Strong bias for action while considering potential outcomes from multiple angles. Always driving towards simplification and transparency.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess priorities and manage/complete multiple complex activities in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong proficiency with financial systems and applications; Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $170,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
