About This Role:

LiveKit is seeking an experienced Field Marketing Manager to partner with our Enterprise Sales team and drive pipeline through targeted, account-based marketing programs. This role will be responsible for creating account-specific marketing plans, executing a wide variety of field initiatives, and helping LiveKit build awareness among key decision-makers within strategic accounts.

As our first dedicated Field Marketing hire (based in the SF Bay Area), you’ll have the opportunity to design and execute programs from the ground up, partnering closely with Account Executives to accelerate deals and deepen customer relationships. You’ll also play a central role in planning for our inaugural first-party conference in 2026, ensuring that enterprise customers, VIPs, and prospects have an exceptional experience.

This is a high-impact, highly collaborative role where creativity, operational rigor, and relationship-building skills are equally important.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with AEs to build account-specific marketing plans that support pipeline goals.

  • Plan and execute first-party events such as executive dinners, happy hours, workshops, and tailored roundtables.

  • Manage third-party event participation, including tradeshows, industry conferences, and executive forums.

  • Launch digital tactics like personalized learning sites, email sequences, and ads.

  • Partner with Sales to identify key contacts within target accounts and execute campaigns that drive awareness and engagement.

  • Track ROI for marketing initiatives and report on pipeline impact from campaigns and events.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales to ensure consistent messaging and execution.

  • Support logistics and execution for a first-party developer conference, including enterprise / VIP experiences, sponsorship strategies, and account-specific outreach.

  • Build scalable processes and playbooks to support future Field Marketing hires as we expand the team.

Who You Are
  • 4–7 years of experience in Field Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, or Demand Generation roles.

  • Proven success supporting enterprise sales teams through account-specific programs.

  • Hands-on experience executing a mix of in-person events, third-party sponsorships, and digital campaigns.

  • Strong project management skills—able to manage budgets, vendors, and multiple programs simultaneously.

  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to design engaging VIP and executive-level experiences.

  • Data-driven, with experience tracking campaign performance and reporting on pipeline influence and ROI.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product.

  • Experience planning or supporting large-scale conferences is a strong plus.

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and enjoys building new functions from scratch.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area with the ability to support local events and travel as needed.

Our Commitments to YouWe offer
  • An opportunity to build something truly impactful to the world

  • Contribute to open source alongside world-class engineers

  • Competitive salary and equity package

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits

  • Flexible vacation policy

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
