About the Role

We’re hiring an Events Marketing Manager to run Leap Health’s in-person and virtual events strategy and execution— spanning industry conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, customer events, webinars, and experiential activations. This role owns everything from strategy and prioritization to execution, measurement, and optimization.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You’ll own a budget, high expectations, and the freedom to be scrappy and creative. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Growth, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Leadership to ensure events directly support pipeline, revenue, and brand goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy & Planning
  • Own Leap Health’s annual events strategy and calendar across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats

  • Evaluate and prioritize events based on ICP alignment, healthcare audience relevance, pipeline potential, and ROI

  • Identify new event opportunities (conferences, sponsorships, owned experiences, partnerships) as the company grows

Execution & Operations
  • Own end-to-end execution for all events, including:

    • Trade shows and conferences

    • Executive dinners, roundtables, and VIP experiences

    • Customer and partner events

    • Webinars and virtual programs

  • Manage all logistics: venue sourcing, contracts, budgets, booth design, shipping, A/V, catering, staffing, travel, and on-site execution

  • Coordinate swag, gifting, signage, and experiential details that elevate the Leap Health brand

  • Run flawless on-site and virtual execution — you’re the quarterback when it matters most

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive pre-event outreach, targeted invitations, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Content to shape messaging, agendas, collateral, demos, and speaker prep

  • Work with Growth / RevOps to ensure lead capture, attribution, and pipeline tracking are dialed in

Measurement & Optimization
  • Define and track event KPIs including attendance, engagement, leads, influenced pipeline, and ROI

  • Analyze performance and share insights with stakeholders and leadership

  • Continuously improve event formats, processes, vendors, and playbooks as the program scales

Building for Scale
  • Develop repeatable playbooks, templates, vendor lists, budgets, and run-of-show docs

  • Bring structure without slowing things down — balancing quality, speed, and cost

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in event management, ideally in B2B SaaS, healthcare, and/or startup environments

  • Proven track record running a mix of owned, sponsored, live, virtual, and hybrid events

  • Strong project manager with ability to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines

  • Skilled in negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and holding vendors accountable

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you’ll be managing multiple events at once

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, event platforms)

  • Willingness to travel as required

  • Ideally based in eastern time zone

Leap is not a place to idle. We work with pace, precision and intent, because we’re building an outlier company. If that sounds exciting to you, please apply to join us!

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
