The Senior Engineering Program Manager will partner closely with engineering, operational, and clinical communication stakeholders to help define, coordinate, and deliver enterprise technology solutions and services that improve caregiver experience and support high-quality patient care across Providence.

This role supports complex cross-functional initiatives spanning clinical communications, nurse call, middleware and integrations, care team communications, operator console technologies, contact center integrations, and related healthcare communication platforms. The scope of this position is both broad across enterprise operational and technical domains and deep in terms of technical coordination, organizational alignment, process improvement, modernization, and continuous service evolution required to sustain and advance enterprise-wide IS services.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in highly collaborative technical environments, coordinating across engineering and operational teams, navigating ambiguity, and helping drive large-scale modernization and integration efforts that directly impact caregiver workflows and patient communication experiences.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree - Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 5 or more years of related experience
  • Strong program and project experience. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
