OVERVIEW
The Senior Director, Retail.com (R.com) will lead the charge in transforming how our brands show up and sell across the digital shelves of our top retail partners. As Sr. Director of Retail eCommerce Center of Excellence (COE), this leader will champion best-in-class principles that elevate our presence across the full "brick and click" landscape - from Walmart and Costco to Department, Prestige Beauty, and Home Center retailers within North America.
This role will be at the forefront of driving category growth through content excellence, conversion optimization, and retail media acceleration. The Sr. Director will collaborate with Brand Marketing, Sales, and Performance teams to craft strategies that enhance product discoverability, strengthen conversion, and deliver a seamless consumer experience.
With a strong grasp of the omnichannel shopper behavior, this leader will build scalable playbooks that unify how we activate, measure, and grow across retail.com - and build the foundation to accelerate over $1B in POS$ annually within North America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Retail eCommerce Leadership
- Define and drive the vision for the Retail.com COE, establishing a unified omnichannel strategy across all "brick and click" retailers.
- Build a high-performing team and framework that champions excellence in digital execution, category conversion, and retailer collaboration.
- Serve as the enterprise voice for Retail eCommerce, shaping how the organization engages, measures, and wins across retail digital ecosystems.
- Content Optimization & Digital Shelf Excellence
- Oversee the creation and optimization of product content, imagery, and enhanced brand experiences across retailer platforms.
- Partner with Brand and Digital teams to ensure alignment between brand storytelling and retailer-specific requirements.
- Implement tools and analytics to measure and improve digital shelf health, discoverability, and conversion.
- Retail Media & Performance Marketing
- Optimize our investments and strategic partnerships with Retail Media Networks (e.g., Walmart Connect, Roundel, CitrusAd, UB Network, etc.).
- Collaborate with integrated marketing and brand as well as our external teams to plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns that influence conversion.
- Implement cutting-edge tools and analytics to track, benchmark, and continuously improve digital shelf performance across retailers
- Optimize the Consumer Experience Across the Path to Purchase
- Champion a seamless shopper journey from awareness to conversion consistently across retailer platforms.
- Partner with brand and digital teams to enhance CX/UX elements including search performance, navigation, and conversion flow and drive consistency in how our brand shows up with strategic retailers.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and test-and-learn agility to continually improve engagement and sell-through.
- Strengthen Joint Business Planning and Retail Partnerships
- Drive conversion principles in the development of best-in-class Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with retail partners.
- Enhance our monthly and quarterly JBP reviews to be relentless on conversion metrics, challenge new ways to improve the consumer experience on all platforms, and establish large milestones to continue overdriving digital penetration.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to key retailers, leveraging insights and innovation to unlock new growth levers across R.com.
- Drive Organizational Readiness and Best Practices
- Codify best practices, playbooks, and standards that scale eCommerce excellence across categories and functions.
- Train and influence cross-functional teams to think and operate with a digital-first, omnichannel mindset.
- Stay ahead of emerging retail, technology, and shopper trends to future-proof the organization's retail.com strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in trade marketing, eCommerce, digital marketing, or retail media - with demonstrated success leading COEs or enterprise retail.com teams.
- Proven experience managing omnichannel retail partnerships (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon, Ulta, Costco, Home Depot, Sephora, etc.).
- Strong understanding of content management, digital shelf analytics, and retail media performance levers.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, insights-driven mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic action.
