The Senior Director – Finance, Equipment Services is responsible for financially managing and supporting the Equipment Services business. This includes setting and delivering financial budgets, making key capital allocation decisions and acting as a strategic business partner to the Equipment Services General Manager.
This position reports to the CFO, Hardware Solutions and is part of the Cytiva Finance Team located in Marlborough, MA, USA and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
Serve as a key member of the Equipment Services leadership team, influencing strategic direction, operational priorities, and business performance outcomes.
Act as a strategic finance partner to R&D, and Service Delivery, driving visibility into performance and enabling data-driven decisions to improve growth, margin, and productivity.
Lead cross-functional alignment across the business unit by translating financial insights into actionable recommendations—supporting pricing strategies, forecast accuracy, market assessments, and resolution of complex commercial issues.
Partner with business leaders to optimize working capital and inventory strategies, identifying opportunities to reduce distribution inventory, improve turns, and enhance cash flow.
Own capital allocation processes, including development of robust business cases for R&D and capital investments, and ongoing monitoring to ensure return expectations and financial targets are achieved.
Drive financial rigor and operational discipline through best-in-class closing, forecasting, and planning processes; continuously improving the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of financial reporting.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while collaborating closely with regional finance partners (APAC/China) and global COEs to ensure consistent execution and alignment across geographies.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within a global, matrixed organization supporting commercial and product-driven businesses.
A highly analytical and strategic thinker who translates complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
A collaborative partner who builds strong relationships across functions and influences decision-making at senior levels.
A results-oriented leader with a bias for action, capable of driving cross-functional initiatives from insight to execution.
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with operational rigor.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: i
Ability to travel – 20% domestically and internationally per business needs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience partnering with R&D and service organizations in a finance business partner capacity, supporting product development, service delivery models, and lifecycle profitability.
Hands-on experience managing working capital and inventory optimization initiatives, including improving turns, reducing distribution inventory, and driving cash flow impact.
Proven track record building and evaluating capital investment cases (capex/R&D) with clear ROI frameworks, and tracking performance against financial targets post‑investment.

The annual salary range for this role is $200,000 - $ 210,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
