Job Description

About This Role  

The Senior Director of Consumer Marketing (Neuropsychiatry) will be a critical and visible leader within the US Neuropsychiatry Franchise, leading, planning and executing sophisticated consumer activation and patient experience strategies. Reporting to the VP/Head Neuropsychiatry Marketing, the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing will lead the consumer marketing team and matrix in the development and execution of overall U.S. branded and unbranded strategies/plans to educate, activate and support patients with Postpartum Depression (PPD).  

What You’ll Do  
•    You will serve as U.S. consumer brand-lead to develop clear patient strategy, design creative campaigns, develop messaging and coordinate a patient experience that meets patients where they are, while overcoming barriers to treatment.   
•    You will lead a team of marketers charged to educate and activate key consumer audiences for postpartum depression (PPD).  Through these efforts, this leader will sit on joint leadership teams to lead the strategy and implementation of the consumer roadmap, with focus on improved education, consumer activation and speed to therapy.    
•    In this position you will focus on leading a team focusing on both indications, disease education initiatives, as well as leading the branded direct to consumer (DTC) launch campaign.  By articulating a clear customer experience strategy this leader will also drive solutions that cross-cut audiences.   
•    You will have a deep understanding of patient/consumer customer audiences, but also the ability to collaborate and lead projects that focus on supporting the intersection between HCP audiences and patient.   
•    You will set goal-based priorities for the team and each individual team member to ensure alignment with the broader marketing organization while forming strong and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.   
•   You will support and enable the organization by providing consumer expertise and partnering with peers and other senior business leaders to develop and implement solutions to challenging business issues.   
•    You will manage overall media planning and content strategies including management of budgets >$50MM.  

Who You Are  

You have deep consumer/patient marketing and launch or market-building expertise. You use crisp customer and market insight to make key business choices and lead implementation across the matrix. You have a proven track record of developing large scale direct to consumer campaigns.  

Qualifications

•    BS/BA Required; MBA Preferred 
•    Seasoned commercial professional, with 12+ years of commercial experience, with 8+ years of marketing or marketing adjacent experience in the pharma or biotech industry, including launch. 
•    Experience in designing and driving omnichannel media campaigns 
•    Experience in complex/crowded therapeutic areas; Depression, Psychiatry, Neurology, Women’s Health experience a plus 
•    Ability to build media plans, analyze data and insight to drive key choices and define a crisp 3-year customer strategy 
•    Must exhibit strong leadership skills, ability to perform in fast paced environments and ability to influence without authority. 
•    Strong project and vendor management track record, including resource allocation and fiscal management.  
•    Experience leading direct and matrixed teams to drive high-impact output 
•    Ability to travel up to 25% 

Preferred Skills 
•     Experience with a collaboration partner and cross-functional leadership to prioritize strategies to focus and drive success of a new paradigm in a complex and crowded market 

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $230,000 - $316,000. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
