Caterpillar Inc. seeks Senior Digital Architect at its facility located at 5205 N O'Connor Blvd, Suite. 100, Irving, TX 75039. Provide architecture solution services and counsel to digital and business driven projects and manage enterprise technology footprint. Provide leadership direction and accountability for strategic system and application architecture plans, technology design and lifecycle, and information integrity by promoting reuse through Enterprise Architecture processes/reviews and standard compliance practices. Determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct architectural reviews and recommend how to proceed with applications (replace, retire, maintain, etc.). REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 8 years of progressive experience in software engineering or architecture. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) At least two of the following: massive real-time event and message processing, data lakes, Big Data transformations and analytics, complex e-commerce applications, IoT edge and cloud data processing, SQL and NoSQL data modeling; (2) Agile SDLC implementation in public cloud eco-system including environments management, test automation, peer review, CI/CD, resource optimization, etc.; (3) Hands-on coding experience with Core Java, Spring, Python, etc.; (4) Hands-on development experience in public cloud environment; (5) Enterprise data integration and analytical platforms (C3 IoT, Pentaho, Snaplogic,..); (6)AWS development experience with exposure to a variety of different services; and (7) Delivering product and/or enterprise architecture for enterprise scale solutions in public cloud and hybrid eco-systems. Telecommuting: Up to 4 days/ week.
Summary Pay Range:
$149,781.00 - $179,640.00
