SPM Oil & Gas Inc. seeks Product Manager at its facility located at 601 Herbert Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76108. Consult with dealers as a recognized expert in the assigned industry (and sub-segments), leverage outstanding machine application or product knowledge to improve closure rates, increase customer loyalty, and enhance sales force effectiveness. This role is for an experienced individual contributor, handle complex and challenging assignments that lend themselves to strategic decisions. Boost dealer sales force knowledge of Caterpillar Products and their applications, lead regional sales training and contributing to program development. Work with dealer product managers, training profiles for salesmen will be developed and maintained, encompassing traditional product comparisons and modules on application training specific to Industry Segments. In the Customer Value Chain, the focus is on delivering business plan achievements by providing product application expertise at the point of sale, offering consultations on applications, production, and cost studies. Tools such as FPC, EIA/VET, Caterpillar Scale Truck, etc., will be utilized. Lead increased application expertise at the customer job-site, identifying and documenting job/application profiles based on field observation and delivering summary recommendations based on SWOT analysis. Stay current on customer/dealer market needs, understanding decision-making processes, and applying insights to support product sales, dealer effectiveness, segment growth, and various improvement processes. Contribute to strategic planning and may provide direction to less experienced personnel, with continual learning and development being essential through experience. Stay updated on industry and technology changes. REQS: This position requires a master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in an application support position with product and customer management or a related occupation. In the alternative the employer will also accept a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in an application support position with product and customer management or a related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Overseeing and evaluating technical machine performance and application knowledge to assist with product application; (2) Developing and enhancing products, processes, tools and capabilities to promote operational performance and efficiency and increase commercial performance; (3) Developing innovation projects to support strategic product development; (4) Warranty policies and procedures and machine performance software such as FPC and VET; (5) Creating management frameworks to deliver customer-focused solutions with minimum resource investment; and (6) NPI Product development processes and Agile Project Management.
Summary Pay Range:
$153,171.00 - $217,320.00
