What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead End-to-End Design Execution: Own the full design delivery strategy for major facility buildouts, campus phases, or complex regional programs from early site preparation through commissioning and handover.

  • Manage Multidisciplinary Integration: Direct multidisciplinary consultants and align civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, security, and operational systems across buildings and infrastructure interfaces.

  • Drive Risk & Financial Governance: Lead resolution of technical, commercial, and program risks while providing design reporting and assurance for budgets, schedules, value engineering, and change controls.

  • Partner & Mentor: Act as the principal design partner across internal divisions (Construction, Operations, Security, Sustainability) and mentor Design Managers to elevate regional design practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Experience: Typically 10+ years of experience with substantial accountability for complex data center or mission-critical capital projects.

  • Security & Federal Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must have the ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance and experience implementing ICD 705 requirements into facilities is preferred.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep multidisciplinary understanding of critical-facility systems, consultant governance, codes/standards, permitting, and global vs. local compliance.

  • Education & Travel: A University degree in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with the ability to travel up to 25%.

What We Offer (Benefits)

  • Compensation: Competitive compensation and benefits packages aligned with your experience.
