The MissionWe’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to serve as the foundational architect of our AI infrastructure. In this role, you will be a key pillar of the AI team, responsible for transforming raw, disparate data into scalable organizational intelligence. You aren’t just building pipelines; you are designing the enterprise-grade framework that powers C-4 Analytics' digital marketing platforms, ensuring our data architecture is as innovative as the solutions it supports.
The RoleAs a Senior Data Engineer, you are expected to be a master of data orchestration. You are a self-starter who navigates the complexities of Snowflake, AI pipelines, and unstructured data environments with precision. You understand that your job is to connect the dots between raw sources and production-ready solutions, implementing best practices in sharding, indexing, and normalization to optimize retrieval at scale. You’ll work across cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business objectives, ensuring every system you design is elegant, documented, and mission-critical.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Architecture & Strategy: Lead by example in designing and maintaining high-performance data systems. You aren’t just moving data; you are implementing best practices in sharding, replication, and indexing to ensure our database architecture is scalable, cost-effective, and optimized for complex access patterns.
- Enterprise Orchestration: Build and manage production-ready AI pipelines that turn disparate, unstructured data into clean, normalized organizational intelligence. You bridge the gap between batch and streaming processes, connecting various sources to Snowflake with precision and reliability.
- AI-Driven Innovation: Core Requirement. You are a pioneer in the AI space, fully proficient in using AI development assistants to accelerate the transition from cutting-edge proof-of-concepts to robust, production-ready solutions. You leverage these tools to refactor data flows and maintain an elite standard of quality.
- Enablement & Collaboration: Craft intuitive tools and frameworks that empower our data scientists and analysts to do their best work. You act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring our data storage and retrieval systems are perfectly aligned with broader business objectives.
- Documentation & Leadership: Act as the visionary for our information architecture. You design elegant, scalable solutions and document them with such clarity that others can easily follow your lead. You provide the technical guidance and architectural "blueprints" necessary for the team to grow and succeed.
- The Strategic Architect: You are fluent in Python and SQL, possessing the rare ability to express complex logic with elegant simplicity. You aren't just a coder; you are a Database Strategist who knows exactly when to deploy relational, vector, graph, or document data models, backed by a deep understanding of sharding, replication, and indexing.
- Cloud & Data Expert: You are a confident Cloud Navigator within the AWS ecosystem and a master of Snowflake. With over 5 years of professional experience in AI and machine learning, you have a proven track record of integrating LLMs and NLP tasks with enterprise data platforms. You understand the nuances of building for scale and the importance of high-fidelity data wrangling.
- Infrastructure Poet: You treat infrastructure as clear, reproducible code. You are an advocate for information architecture best practices, data modeling, and rigorous data governance. You are proficient in the modern SDLC for AI projects, ensuring that every pipeline you design is robust, secure, and production-ready.
- Dynamic Collaborator & Question Seeker: You understand that engineering is a team sport. You are an empathetic communicator who can work independently with minimal supervision while fostering teamwork across departments. You are the person who finds the right questions that others haven't thought to ask, identifying and resolving problems with a sense of urgency and resourcefulness.
