We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to bring a rigorous, data-driven approach to our Growth team. This role will focus on driving insights that optimize paid channels, user journey, activation, retention, and churn reduction. You will work cross-functionally with Growth and Product teams to identify friction points, surface opportunities, and inform actionable insights.

To apply, you must complete our Values Assessment Questionnaire here. We will consider your responses alongside your qualifications and experience as part of our overall hiring process.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Growth Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a SaaS or high-growth tech company
  • Advance SQL skills and experience working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, Metabase, or similar).
  • Experience with experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing).
  • Experience with ETL
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or similar).

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Full-time ad network analysis, with a mix of reporting on and advising on performance (which campaigns are working, opportunities for optimization, interesting insights through the entire network, ad hoc asks, etc.). Proactive insights and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain experiments (A/B tests, feature flagging) to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to improve tracking,  instrumentation, and data quality.
  • Policing tracking and ensuring that we have the coverage we need as re release things, that it's showing up where it needs to, and helping us create a culture of self-serve analytics

Why this role might be for you:

  • Strategic operator with hands-on executional chops.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Work within the creator economy or SaaS experience.
  • Obsessed with customer and advertiser outcomes and accelerating network growth.
  • Clear and concise communicator, and can effectively develop cohesive data-driven narratives verbally and in written form.

Why this role might not be for you:

  • Not a traditional 9-to-5 position.
  • Need to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Must be comfortable with rapid iteration and frequent context switching.
  • High expectations for both speed and quality.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
