SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

We’re looking for a strategic and creative Senior Content Analyst to join our Growth Marketing team and elevate how fans discover, experience, and connect with live entertainment. This isn’t just a content role—it’s an opportunity to define how content drives business outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You’re a content expert who understands both storytelling and strategy. You’ve worked across formats—SEO, blogs, social, multimedia—and know how to pair compelling narratives with data-driven distribution. You’re curious about how fans behave, passionate about live events, and relentless in your pursuit of performance improvement.

As a key player at the intersection of content, data, and marketing, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams across SEO, product, event operations, and engineering. Your work will directly influence how millions of fans discover and engage with events—from concerts and sports to theater and comedy.

What you'll do
  • Shape Content Strategy: Partner closely with the Senior Manager of SEO to define, execute, and maintain SeatGeek’s content strategy across the marketplace
  • Drive Growth Through Insights: Analyze performance across editorial, SEO, and user-generated content. Build dashboards and KPIs that track engagement, traffic, conversions, and ROI—translating insights into clear actions
  • Expand Content Channels: Develop cases for new content types and formats—blogs, social, multimedia, and beyond—with a laser focus on bottom-line impact
  • Optimize for Discovery: Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and gap assessments to inform high-impact SEO strategy
  • Standardize Quality: Define content usage and quality guidelines, and evangelize the value of content across partners and stakeholders
  • Enhance Marketplace Experience: Collaborate with Event Ops to ensure harmony between content, seating maps, view-from-seat media, perks, and catalog data—especially ahead of high-impact seasonal moments
  • Influence Product Roadmap: Partner with the product team to suggest improvements that boost the operational efficiency of internal content tools
  • Explore AI Innovation: Be a thought leader in applying AI to content sourcing and curation workflows—bringing automation and creativity together
  • Manage Contributors: Build and manage a roster of freelance writers and content creators to support multichannel content needs
What you have
  • Experience & Expertise: 4+ years in content, editorial, SEO, or digital marketing—ideally in consumer tech, media, or e-commerce
  • SEO Fluency: Deep knowledge of organic search and on-page SEO; hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or similar
  • Fan-First Mindset: A true live entertainment enthusiast who can speak passionately about the experience as both a strategist and a fan
AI Curiosity: You stay ahead of emerging AI trends and understand how to practically apply them to improve content discovery and curation
  • Data Confidence: Comfortable working with data and tools like Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, IF statements). You enjoy exploring performance metrics and extracting insights
  • Strategic + Creative Thinking: You blend analytical rigor with creative problem-solving—crafting strategies that resonate and perform
  • Strong Execution: You know how to get things done efficiently, even with limited resources, and bring a bias for action
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent at working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders across marketing, product, and operations.
  • Content Systems Knowledge: Experience with CMS platforms and a strong understanding of how to scale and optimize content management processes.
  • Talent Network: A robust network of writers, editors, and content creators you can call on to execute fast, high-quality work.
Perks
  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Student loan support resources
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Up to $25k towards family building and reproductive health services
  • Gender-affirming care support program
  • $500 per year for wellness expenses
  • Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical
  • $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $73,000 - $113,000 USD. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
