As a Senior Consultant at Veeva, you will help major pharmaceutical and biotech companies organize and manage their customer and product data. You will design and implement Veeva Network MDM to give clients a single, accurate view of their doctors, hospitals, and business partners across multiple sources.
You will act as the lead solution architect and project driver. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, design the system setup, and lead a small internal team of technical specialists to build and deliver the solution on time.
How You Will Spend Your Time
- 50% Data Analysis & Solution Design: Meeting with clients, analyzing their data needs, and designing how the software should be set up.
- 30% Technical Architecture: High-level platform configuration, mapping data flows, and making sure integrations work correctly.
- 20% Project Leadership: Keeping projects on schedule, managing risks, and coaching junior team members.
What You'll Do
- Lead Customer Projects: Run software implementation projects from start to finish for global healthcare and life sciences clients
- Design Data Solutions: Set up the platform to track healthcare professionals, organizations, and product data. Help clients combine their internal data sources into a single source of truth
- Connect Systems: Connect Veeva Network MDM to Vault CRM so sales teams in the field can easily request data updates and view accurate customer profiles
- Configure Portals and Widgets: Set up user-friendly dashboards and widgets so business users can easily search and access the data they need
- Advise Stakeholders: Run workshops and present your designs clearly to client managers and stakeholders, translating technical data concepts into plain business language
- Improve the Team: Help train junior consultants and create reusable templates and guides to make future implementations faster and better
Requirements
- Consulting Experience: 5+ years of software consulting or professional services experience leading customer-facing technology implementations
- MDM Software Skills: 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring Veeva Network MDM or a similar major master data management system (like Reltio or Informatica)
- Data Tech Basics: Solid understanding of data integration tools, including SQL, ETL processes, APIs, and CSV/FTP file transfers
- Project Delivery: Experience working with structured project timelines (like Agile or Scrum) and managing project tasks
- Communication: Excellent presentation and writing skills. You must be comfortable leading meetings and managing client relationships
- Travel & Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and the ability to travel 20-30% for client meetings
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Veeva does not provide visa sponsorship for this role
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working in or consulting for the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- Experience with other Veeva software (e.g. Vault CRM) or Salesforce.com
- Experience using integration platforms (e.g. Informatica or MuleSoft)

Compensation
- Base pay: $80,000 - $200,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
