WHOOP is seeking a Senior Campus Recruiter to build and lead the growth of our University Recruiting programs, including internships, co-ops, fellowships and more. As the dedicated owner of a space that has been a primarily shared responsibility to date, you’ll have the opportunity to define our strategy, shape our campus partnerships, and create meaningful entry points into WHOOP for early career talent. You’ll be a collaborative partner to hiring teams across the organization and a key contributor to the company’s long-term talent pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and design the WHOOP university recruiting strategy across internships, co-ops, and fellowship programs, in close collaboration with hiring managers and the broader Talent team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key universities, student groups, and career services/employer relations teams to drive awareness and interest in WHOOP.
  • Represent WHOOP at on-campus and virtual events, career fairs, and networking sessions, traveling both in-state and out of state as needed.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, from initial engagement through scheduling, interviews, and offer delivery.
  • Build inclusive and robust pipelines by identifying new university partners, developing creative sourcing strategies, and ensuring equitable access to opportunities.
  • Manage the conversion process from internship and co-op programs to full-time roles at WHOOP, ensuring early-career hiring is a visible and strategic focus within campus recruiting efforts. Continuously assess and improve campus recruiting processes, metrics, and tools to ensure scalability and impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in campus or early-career recruiting, ideally within a high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders while delivering an exceptional candidate and partner experience.
  • Deep knowledge of event strategy, logistics, and engagement best practices to attract top early-career talent.
  • Comfort attending a high volume of events - both on-campus and those internally run by WHOOP.
  • Creative problem-solver with an eye for scalable recruiting strategies. Comfortable owning and evolving programs with a long-term mindset, balancing short-term needs with future growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Experience using recruiting tools (e.g., ATS, university job boards) to manage workflows and report on outcomes.
  • Passion for building early talent pipelines and fostering long-term partnerships with universities and organizations.
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
