Job Description:

Senior Program Lead, Finance Data Governance

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the rollout of TJX Finance's Data Governance program across North America. Success in this position will come less from deep technical governance expertise and more from the ability to drive adoption, facilitate discussions, build relationships, and guide teams through change.

Working across Finance functions and leadership levels, this individual will coordinate rollout activities, lead workshops and training sessions, help teams understand governance concepts, and ensure initiatives stay on track. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading programs, influencing without authority, and turning strategy into action.

What You’ll Do

Finance Data Governance Program

  • Serve as the Finance lead for the rollout of Data Governance across North America, owning execution from kickoff through completion

  • Develop and deliver training, communications, and adoption materials that help Finance teams understand and apply Data Governance concepts

  • Lead working sessions with Finance teams to assess current state, align on expectations across core governance areas (definitions, ownership, lineage, criticality), and drive clear next steps

  • Partner with Enterprise Data & Analytics to ensure Finance’s approach remains aligned to the broader TJX vision and roadmap

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to materials and approaches based on realworld rollout experience, ensuring the program scales smoothly and remains practical for Finance teams

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Finance teams navigating these efforts for the first time

HighExposure Stakeholder Partnership

  • Work directly with Finance stakeholders across multiple functions and levels, from analysts and managers through AVP+ leadership

  • Build strong working relationships through clear communication, structured facilitation, and consistent follow through

  • Provide program leadership with concise updates, insights, and recommendations, managing daytoday execution independently and escalating issues when leadership input is required

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and adoption challenges, and surface them early with proposed paths forward

Driving Execution & Momentum

  • Own daytoday progress of the Finance rollout, ensuring momentum is maintained, decisions are driven to closure, and teams continue moving forward between formal touchpoints.

  • Plan and facilitate working sessions, trainings, and walkthroughs independently

  • Track progress, manage open items, and coordinate next steps across multiple parallel efforts

  • Apply change management principles to support sustainable adoption that extends beyond the initial engagement with each team

Data & Analytics Enablement (Secondary Focus)

  • In addition to Data Governance responsibilities, this role may have opportunities to support reporting, analytics, and process automation initiatives based on business priorities

  • Identify potential opportunities for process enhancement as you work with Finance teams, and connect them with the appropriate leaders within the broader Data & Analytics organization

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Experience supporting organizational change management, communications, training, or user adoption initiatives

  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading workshops, training sessions, working groups, or stakeholder meetings

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, track actions, remove roadblocks, and drive initiatives to completion

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization

  • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into practical, easy-to-understand guidance for business teams

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping teams navigate organizational change

What Success in this Role Looks Like

  • Finance teams understand foundational Data Governance concepts and expectations

  • Rollout activities are completed on schedule across multiple Finance functions

  • Working sessions result in clear ownership, decisions, and next steps

  • Stakeholders view the program as practical, valuable, and easy to engage with

  • Governance practices become embedded into day-to-day Finance processes

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work environment (mix of inoffice and remote, depending on location)

  • High degree of collaboration across Finance and data teams

  • Flexibility may be required during key rollout or implementation periods

  • Occasional travel may be required
