This is a remote position.

About the role:

You'll tackle problems involving distributed systems, large-scale data processing, and platform scalability while partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to build reliable, performant data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is highly autonomous, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes ownership from design through production.

What you will be doing:

●  Developing and deploying scalable and elegant code

●  Work with distributed systems and data pipelines

●  Lead and drive projects to completion

●  Innovating on creative solutions to difficult problems

●  Work with related data infrastructure technologies

What we’re looking for:

●  5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field

●  Strong programming skills in Python or any other OOP languages

●  Advanced SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models

●  Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

●  Experience managing infrastructure using code such as Terraform (IAAS)

Bonus Points!

● Hands on experience working with Apache Spark, Databricks, Flink, Beam, or similar large-scale data processing frameworks

● Experience managing large-scale critical production systems with minimum SLAs of 4 9's

Work Location:
Remote - US - Remote work is limited to the following U.S. states:

CA, CO, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, TX, WA

Compensation:

The standard base pay range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 annually. This range does not include bonuses, equity, or other incentives.
