About the Role:

AGF is seeking a Platform Sales professional to support the growth of its U.S. wealth business by driving adoption of investment strategies across priority wealth platforms.

This is an external, execution‑focused sales role responsible for engaging financial advisors, supporting platform initiatives, and contributing to distribution through managed accounts (SMAs/UMAs), model portfolios, and intermediary strategies.

The role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in wealth distribution, with a focus on platform‑centric sales, advisor engagement, and adoption outcomes.

Reporting to the Vice President, Wealth Strategy & Distribution, U.S., this role is an integral part of the Platform Sales function and works in close partnership with senior sales leadership and platform execution resources.

This position will be based in Boston in a hybrid setting.

Your Responsibilities:

Platform & Advisor Engagement

  • Engage financial advisors and platform stakeholders to build awareness and usage of AGF’s investment strategies.

  • Support outreach and relationship‑building within priority wealth platforms.

  • Participate in advisor meetings, platform calls, events, and follow‑up activities.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Development

  • Conduct proactive outreach (calls, meetings, follow‑ups) to develop advisor engagement.

  • Support the build‑out of an advisor pipeline within assigned platforms.

  • Contribute to advancement of sales opportunities tied to platform priorities.

Platform Adoption Support

  • Support the progression of strategies through platform adoption stages:
    Available → Recommended → Model → Adoption

  • Assist with platform initiatives including:

    • due diligence processes

    • RFPs and questionnaires

    • model portfolio evaluations

  • Help execute initiatives tied to SMA/UMA models, intermediary, and platform programs.

Client & Product Positioning

  • Support discussions with advisors on:

    • market conditions

    • AGF investment strategies and performance

    • portfolio construction and use cases

  • Assist in preparing materials and coordinating meetings involving AGF investment professionals.

Collaboration & Market Awareness

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and investment teams.

  • Maintain awareness of competitor strategies, platform trends, and advisor needs.

  • Represent AGF at client meetings, industry events, and conferences.

Execution Discipline & CRM

  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and opportunities in Salesforce.

  • Track engagement and support reporting on platform and advisor activity.

  • Contribute to a disciplined execution model aligned with platform priorities.

What You Bring:

  • 3–7+ years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or investment distribution.

  • Experience in direct sales or client-facing business development, preferably within asset management, wealth management, or financial advisory channels.

  • Familiarity with managed accounts (SMA/UMA), model portfolios, or intermediary strategies is preferred.

  • Strong communication and client engagement skills.

  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

  • High level of organization and follow‑through.

  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.

Compensation :

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 USD annually, which represents base salary and, where applicable, variable compensation components (e.g., annual bonus, commissions, etc.). Actual compensation will be determined based on many factors such as role location, candidate experience / qualifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
