This role is responsible for conducting complex research and analysis on individuals, companies, and other entities to support client engagements involving due diligence, investigations, disputes, and risk-related matters. The Senior Associate will gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from public records, proprietary databases, and human sources, transforming findings into clear, actionable intelligence. - Conduct detailed investigative research on individuals, corporate entities, and issues from a wide range of open sources, including media reports; criminal, civil, and bankruptcy proceedings; regulatory filings; business registrations; and real property records.
- Utilize online and subscription databases to collect relevant public records, such as property documents, SEC filings, legal pleadings, and other records.
- Identify and analyze specialized industry, regulatory, and governmental information resources.
- Conduct research to identify potential human sources, witnesses, and experts, and perform phone and in-person interviews of those individuals, with guidance from senior personnel.
- Manage and coordinate consultants conducting on-site research at public record repositories in remote locations.
- Independently produce high-quality and detailed reports, and maintain accurate, detailed, and organized records of the work.
- Conduct verbal briefings for project managers and/or clients.
- Handle multiple projects of a diverse nature concurrently.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; degrees in international affairs, political science, business, finance, accounting, or related fields preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, investigations, intelligence, forensic accounting, audit, law, journalism, or a related field involving complex research and analysis.
- Experience working with corporate, legal, government, or professional services clients preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in research and reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with public records, investigative, financial, and online research tools and databases preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
