This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.
HarbourVest is seeking a Sr. Associate, Commercial Operations to drive commercial results through data-driven insights. This person will collaborate with senior leaders and make an impact on our go-to-market strategy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment!

- Deliver complex analysis and insight to support our go-to-market strategy and boost fundraising efficiency
- Conduct monthly reviews of critical fundraising metrics with IR Leadership and Product Specialists
- Use 3rd party databases and tools like Preqin, Pitchbook, Dakota, LinkedIn, and others to enhance fundraising data and increase analytical capabilities
- Support fundraising target setting and year-end performance reviews with analysis and data
- Build materials to provide regular fundraising updates to key collaborators and committees
- And other responsibilities as required
- Excellent analytical skills with proven experience in data modelling
- Strategic problem solver who can use data-driven insights to tell a story
- Bias for action and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously while holding themselves accountable for delivering results
- Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com
- Proficiency with other business intelligence tools a plus (Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.) and query languages (SQL) a plus
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
- B.S or equivalent experience
- 3-5 Years strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy experience preferred
- Prior experience in Private Markets, Asset Management, or Financial Services industry a plus
