We are hiring Senior Art Directors to join our team designing end-to-end digital website projects for one of our largest clients, a Bay Area based creative tech company. In this embedded role, you’ll partner with our internal Creative and Production teams, and the client, to design best-in-class digital experiences and solutions. If the term conceptual digital design and detailed execution resonates, then this role may be for you.
These roles require team members to be onsite 5 days per week, for 2-3 months at a time, for specific projects. At other times during the year, the team is remote.
Candidates should have:
- Hands-on experience in digital design and art direction, leading projects and initiatives, and consistently delivering pixel perfect designs, while innovating work across a variety of industries
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners, including design, copy, motion, production, and account partners, and some experience mentoring more junior team members
- Strong client collaboration and management skills, with a proven ability to present and defend design strategies to senior-level clients and stakeholders
- Mastery in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote, proficiency in Figma and ideally Sketch, additional motion and prototyping software is a plus, with the ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies
- While not required, bonus if you have experience both in-house and with creative agencies
We’d like to know that you can:
- Drive the creation of distinctive, forward-thinking, on-brand digital design solutions—consistently exceeding project goals and setting new creative benchmarks
- Confidently communicate and present complex design concepts and digital interactions to both internal teams and senior client audiences
- Proactively stay ahead of emerging design practices and technologies, identifying and integrating industry trends to elevate both design quality and user experience across projects
- Champion and refine agile design processes, establishing best practices and raising the bar for design standards throughout the organization
- Serve as both a collaborative team lead, and a highly proactive individual contributor, inspiring others through example and initiative
- Actively solicit, interpret, and integrate feedback from diverse sources, leveraging it to enhance design outcomes and mentor less experienced designers
The target range of base compensation for this role is $140k - $170k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
