Job Overview:

The Sr. Analyst role will analyze how LPL makes money and support recommendations on how LPL can optimize its pricing models. As part of the Pricing team, you will also work with a team of strategists on various innovative initiatives to increase LPL’s enterprise value. We are looking for candidates who are adept at analyzing financials, finding patterns, and setting a vision for what is possible.

The Sr. Analyst role will be part of our fast-paced Corporate Strategy team where LPL dreams big – setting an ambitious vision – then interacting with stakeholders across the organization to turn this vision into reality. Our Sr. Analyst combine strategic thinking, human-centered design, market research & sizing, and data analysis to explore, ideate, and incubate the opportunities that will set LPL apart from the competition.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis across LPL’s revenue streams

  • Build financial models

  • Help identify opportunities for improvement

  • Connect financial positioning back to LPL’s long term strategy

  • Support initiatives that will have a material impact to LPL

  • Conduct competitive analysis to assess LPL’s economic threats & opportunities

  • Take a data-driven approach to uncovering value pools

  • Collaborate with key business partners around the firm to evolve our pricing strategy

  • Develop executive level presentations to help leadership drive our strategy forward

  • Be a key team member in the team responsible for defining LPL’s long-term strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Engineering, or the Liberal Arts

  • 5+ years of experience in either corporate strategy, financial modeling, or strategy consulting.

Core Competencies:

  • Financial Modeling

  • Strategy and Consulting

Preferences:

  • Robust knowledge of the financial service industry

  • Robust knowledge of how large companies run their P&Ls

  • Robust knowledge of the economics behind wealth management firms, broker dealers, RIAs, custody

  • MBA/CFA preferred

  • Superior analytical skills with an ability to identify relevant data + insights and present in an actionable manner

  • Superior presentation skills & ability to build a story narrative

  • Able to take complex topics and make them easy to understand


 

Pay Range:

$98,000-$163,300/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
