The Senior Analyst, Data Quality is a highly detail-oriented and collaborative individual who ensures the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of pre-clinical data across multiple modalities. This person plays a key role in supporting the Senior Data QC Analyst Manager by providing leadership within the QC Analyst team, ensuring high-quality data review across modalities, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet project goals. This role focuses on process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. The Senior Analyst, Data Quality will collaborate cross-functionally with the Project Management (PM), Image Analysis (IA), Lab, and Study Director (SD) teams to ensure high quality pre-clinical data for sponsors/clients.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Support the team by resolving complex scientific data integrity issues that may arise
  • Provide guidance to QCA I, and QCA II  team members in scientific training; support the training of new hires
  • Identify issues and as needed, work with team member(s) to resolve issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk, and timelines

Quality Control and Data Review

  • Implement best practices in quality control and review of raw, pre-processed, and analyzed data of all modalities and therapeutic areas for accuracy, consistency, and completeness in alignment with internal standards and project requirements

Documentation and Reporting

  • Review reporting to ensure consistency in data presentation across studies within a Sponsor Program or Alliance Agreement

Process Optimization

  • Identify QC bottlenecks and gain insights into data generation processes
  • Collaborate with the Analysis and Software teams to streamline and automate manual QC workflows, increasing throughput and reducing human error
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, templates, and internal guidelines for quality control processes

Other

  • Carryout any other reasonable duties as requested.

Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills)

  • Confidence with nuclear medicine-related modalities 
  • Confidence with documentation related to animal handling, radiochemical procedures, and study design
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication abilities in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision, and meet specified timelines
  • Must be able to work effectively both independently and as a team

Experience, Education, and Certifications

  • Proven experience managing and leading mentoring colleagues.
  • Proven line management and leadership management
  • Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders.
  • Master's degree with several years of experience in imaging or pharmaceutical project management, or bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Chemistry, or Pharmacology) with 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience in pre-clinical in vivo imaging applications (MRI, PET, SPECT, or CT) including understanding of theory and familiarity with data acquisition, analysis techniques, and quality control English: Fluent

This role is based in the Perceptive office located in Needham, MA. The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000- 90,000. This range represents the anticipated initial annual salary and may vary depending on several factors including the candidate’s experience and skills and may be subject to market rate adjustment.
