Raytheon is seeking an experienced data analytics professional that can also provide backend application support. To be successful, the candidate will have strong analytical and engineering skills and is passionate about applying those skills to build analytics solutions while maintaining existing applications. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to developing analytics solutions, analyzing and validating datasets, maintaining the back end of applications, testing solutions, communicating with stakeholders and gathering basic requirements.
What you will do
Hardware Technician Activities:
Responsibilities include guiding users to help troubleshoot hardware and assist with back end support of certain applications. With an in-depth understanding of hardware, they may be a valuable SME in terms of knowing what the business will need for future deployments and can effectively communicate these insights with stakeholders and leadership.
Data Analysis Activities:
Aggregate, condition, and analyze data from multiple sources to understand trends and correlations, generate scenarios, and draw conclusions on performance and opportunities. Synthesize relevant information needed for high-level decision making and succinctly communicate research findings in a clear and concise manner. Communicate and display findings via multiple output formats including PowerPoint, email summaries, and dashboards (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI).
Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field. Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining a wide variety of hardware and related software such as mobile scanners or RFID equipment. You should outline any hardware troubleshooting training and/or experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word).
- Experience in the use of one or ore of the following: Jira, SQL, HTML, SharePoint, PowerBI, and/or Tableau.
- US Citizenship is required for access to the information utilized in our systems and contracts.
Qualifications we prefer:
- Proficient verbal and written skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to manage competing priorities in a cross-functional environment.
- Data analytics would be required, and the candidate should have a basic understanding of how to review data to come to a decision.
- Manage equipment inventories across multiple sites and functions.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and acquisitions in line with established budgets.

Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
