As a Senior Administrative Support Specialist, you will play an important role in maintaining the administrative backbone within a DoD setting. This position primarily emphasizes administrative and program management experience. Your main focus will be to support operations in processing documentation and facilitating day-to-day administrative tasks crucial to the efficient functioning of the team

Responsibilities may include: 

  • Records Management

  • Manage Workflow Taskers between the Directorate, Division, Branch and program levels

  • Collaborate with PEG and Branch Admin Support Personnel

  • Review documents for approval and clarity

  • Prepare Status Update briefings for leadership meetings

  • Take meeting minutes and follow-up with action items

  • Assist with travel planning and arrangement

  • Use discernment in finding/recommending the right person/people to work on a particular task

  • Will perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must hold a current secret clearance. 

The ideal candidate will also have:  

  • Experience: Experience in discerning where to look for the right person to handle taskers

  • Proficient: Proficiency in Workflows, SharePoint, Teams and Record Management

  • Team Player: Proven ability to work with branch admins as well as interact confidently with the Directorate front office

  • Work Experience: Experience working in a division level front office or PEG before as well as experience working as a Program Manager

  • Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to take initiative to recommend efficiencies or automation processes that would benefit the programs/Branch/Division

The expected annual salary range: $80k - $90k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
