Responsibilities
Revenue accounting and reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue calculations and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team on order-to-cash processes
- Review new revenue contracts for revenue accounting considerations
- Support integration of new revenue streams into existing processes
Compliance and controls
- Contribute to development, rollout, and continuous improvement of policies, processes, and internal control documentation
- Manage deliverables for annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors
- Assist with testing and implementation of new revenue recognition software
- Support ad hoc projects as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients or a mix of public accounting and public company work experience
- Technology, SAAS, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Experience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting
- Project management including consistently establishing and meeting timelines
- Ability to learn and understand financial accounting systems/software
- Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
