JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Account Manager, Consumer Electronics is a senior commercial leadership role within Outform's Consumer Electronics Vertical, accountable for deepening the level of strategic support delivered to Outform's consumer electronics clients and driving topline growth across assigned accounts. This role is responsible for elevating Outform's credibility and value as a trusted partner across the consumer electronics landscape through strategic account leadership, exceptional execution, and enduring client relationships.

This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the brand, acting as both the voice of the client internally and the voice of Outform externally. The role owns the strategic development, execution, and growth of all client-funded initiatives within assigned accounts, while guiding internal teams through complex, cross-functional programs. A core measure of success is revenue and margin growth driven by client initiatives and account-funded projects.

DIRECT REPORTS

  • N/A (This position operates as a senior individual contributor with cross-functional leadership accountability.)

SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Own the strategic and commercial relationship between Outform and assigned consumer electronics accounts, including related brands and initiatives.
  • Serve as Outform's senior ambassador within each client organization, embodying the excellence, values, and mission of The Outform Group.
  • Drive topline revenue growth and contribution margin performance directly tied to assigned account programs.
  • Lead complex, multi-project pipelines involving design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
  • Translate client strategies, priorities, and ways of working into actionable internal plans.
  • Act as the internal leader and driver of best-practice ways of working specific to each account.
  • Identify and develop additional brand and program opportunities within the consumer electronics ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship & Strategic Account Leadership

  • Build, maintain, and deepen senior-level and day-to-day relationships across each client organization—from C-suite to operational teams.
  • Leverage ongoing client insights to inform Outform's strategy on the right projects, pricing, scope, and internal resourcing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic growth agent, guiding Outform toward next-level revenue and partnership opportunities.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Ownership

  • Own topline revenue growth across assigned accounts, including forecasting, pipeline management, and margin performance.
  • Identify internal step-changes required to achieve growth targets and proactively partner with leadership to execute improvements.
  • Maintain a detailed, project-based pipeline and revenue forecast using established reporting tools.

Project Oversight & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of client RFPs, RFQs, speculative projects, and active programs.
  • Strategically guide and partner with global cross-functional Outform teams—Design, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Production—to position Outform to win and deliver work.
  • Ensure alignment to client timelines, standards, budgets, and expectations.

Vertical & Internal Partnership

  • Partner closely with the VP, Consumer Electronics to share client insights—what's working, what's not, and what's next.
  • Inform commercial, pricing, and operational strategies using client-driven intelligence.
  • Support development of a cohesive, long-term growth plan aligned with both client and Outform goals.

Market & Brand Opportunity Identification

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the branded landscape within each client organization.
  • Identify and pursue direct brand-funded display and merchandising opportunities aligned to Outform's capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years in a commercial or client service role within the industry, on the agency, brand, or retailer side.
  • Experience or knowledge of the consumer electronics landscape and its retail/distribution channels.
  • Minimum 5 years managing strategic accounts with annual revenues of $10M+.
  • Proven experience driving growth within complex, multi-stakeholder client organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Working conditions are in a normal office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and stand, using hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally, the employee must crouch or kneel. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 20 pounds. Successful performance requires good eyesight with or without corrective lenses. Requires long periods of time working at a computer and includes phone work. As a global company, conference calls may at times need to occur outside standard working hours. Travel up to 15% of the time is required and is an essential function of this position.
