Description

We’re looking for Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team.

Why Mitiga?

EDR protects the endpoint. Mitiga protects everything else, anticipating and disrupting active attacks across the modern stack and stopping them before they reach the business.

Mitiga is the leader in Zero-Impact Breach Prevention, delivered through Agentic Runtime Security for the modern infrastructure — cloud, SaaS, identity, and AI. By delivering the runtime detection and response that security teams already rely on for endpoints, extended to the infrastructure endpoint tools can’t see, Mitiga provides Zero-Impact Breach Prevention, in runtime.

The Role

Mitiga is looking for an experienced cybersecurity Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle for prospective customers, taking warm inbound leads, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will have experience selling solutions to CISO’s and Incident Response teams who manage the complexity of managing cyber attacks end to end.

In this role, you will:

  • Own executive relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and key stakeholders across enterprise organizations in the US.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers strengthen and modernize their cloud and SaaS security operations with Mitiga's platform.
  • Lead complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to close, engaging multiple executive and technical stakeholders throughout the buying journey.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, consistently building a strong pipeline and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Build and expand relationships with strategic channel and technology partners to accelerate pipeline generation and drive mutual success.
  • Collaborate closely with world-class Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Cyber experts to win competitive opportunities and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Represent an innovative cybersecurity company addressing one of today's most critical security challenges, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly growing market.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
Requirements

Who you are:

  • A high-performing cybersecurity sales professional with 5+ years of experience consistently exceeding quota and closing complex SaaS or security deals.
  • Trusted by CISOs, security leaders, and executive buyers, with a proven ability to build lasting relationships and lead strategic sales conversations.
  • Experienced selling in early-stage, high-growth startups (Seed–Series B), where you've helped build pipelines, shape go-to-market strategy, and scale revenue.
  • A true hunter who enjoys creating opportunities from scratch, opening new accounts, and winning greenfield territories.
  • Proven success managing complex mid-market and enterprise sales cycles involving multiple technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven adoption of AI to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Comfortable translating technical cybersecurity concepts into clear business value through a consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Deeply familiar with the cloud security and cybersecurity landscape, including today's challenges, market trends, and buyer priorities.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and disciplined in pipeline management, forecasting, and execution.
  • Energized by fast-paced startup environments where ownership, adaptability, and collaboration are essential to success.
  • Mandatory Location based in Dallas, Texas, or within a maximum radius of 20 miles from Dallas.
Some More Details and Perks
  • Location: US (covering TOLA)
  • Remote work
  • For this position, the estimated OTE salary is between $300K-$350K USD with this being just one aspect of the overall compensation package. This will include bonus, equity grants, and generous benefits.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
