Your Impact
As a Senior Account Executive for ThousandEyes, you will own a portfolio of some of the largest and most strategic enterprise accounts across New England. This is a unique role that combines the reach, relationships, and resources of Cisco with the speed and entrepreneurial mindset of a high-growth SaaS organization.
Our best Account Executives excel at both motions: scaling through Cisco's extensive customer relationships while independently creating executive relationships, developing pipeline, and closing strategic business. This is an individual contributor, quota-carrying role with the opportunity to develop and close complex $500K to $1M+ ACV transactions.
  • Own and execute the ThousandEyes growth strategy across a select portfolio of large strategic enterprise accounts, driving both new logo acquisition and expansion.
  • Build executive-level relationships and establish ThousandEyes as a strategic partner aligned to customers' most important technology and business initiatives.
  • Create pipeline independently while leveraging Cisco Account Managers, Specialists, Partners, and leadership to accelerate access and deal execution.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity creation through technical evaluation, executive alignment, pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Build existing customers into $1M+ ARR strategic relationships while delivering consistent quota attainment, pipeline coverage, and forecast accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional experience selling enterprise technology solutions, including experience achieving or exceeding quotas.
  • Experience developing and closing six- and seven-figure transactions with Fortune 500 or other large enterprise organizations.
  • Experience independently generating sales pipeline and collaborating with sales organization, partner ecosystem, and internal resources to develop and close opportunities.
  • Experience selling to executive level stakeholders and managing sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and buying centers.
  • Experience negotiating enterprise sales agreements and developing strategic account plans.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling observability, networking, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or other strategic enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Experience penetrating new strategic accounts and expanding existing customers into $1M+ annual relationships.
  • Experience operating successfully in an overlay, specialist, or partner-led sales model while maintaining independent ownership of pipeline and deal execution.
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, and self-motivated, with the ability to operate with significant autonomy and create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that values urgency, accountability, collaboration, and a "roll up your sleeves" mentality.
