Description

We are seeking a strong, experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate brings solid hands‑on Scrum experience, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to drive Agile maturity within a structured, regulated environment. Prior experience in banking or financial services is preferred; however, compliance, AML, or Actimize experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and Agile best practices.

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.

Act as a coach to the team, helping improve collaboration, self‑organization, and delivery predictability.

Remove impediments and proactively manage dependencies to keep delivery on track.

Partner closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Technology stakeholders to ensure clarity of priorities and requirements.

Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burn‑down/up charts, sprint progress) and use insights to drive continuous improvement.

Promote Agile mindset and best practices across teams and stakeholders.

Support Agile delivery within a banking or enterprise environment, balancing agility with governance and controls when required.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments.

Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and servant leadership.

Hands‑on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.

Ability to manage and resolve team impediments effectively.

Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Experience working with cross‑functional technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Banking or financial services background (preferred).

Experience working within enterprise or regulated environments.

Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience supporting multiple teams or complex delivery programs.
