Delivery:
- Facilitates and coordinates portfolio planning process including Agile Program Increment planning events (kick-offs, portfolio/train/program retrospectives, etc.) and managing dependencies, risks & issues.
- Aligning teams with technology priorities, resolving cross-team dependencies, and leveraging data and insights to drive stronger product impact.
- Orchestrating delivery flow across portfolios, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and improving overall portfolio performance.
- Coaching and Mentoring:
- Provide guidance and support to agile teams, helping them understand and implement agile principles and practices effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Data and Metrics Insights:
- Leverage planning and reporting tools to provide insights into product delivery, team health and excellent engineering practices.
- Ensure that teams maintain visibility and transparency in their processes, identifies data to measure/analyze and coaches others on how to use the data being captured.
- Opportunity Identification: Actively identify areas for improvement within teams,
- including process enhancements, team dynamics, and overall workflow efficiency.
- Champion innovative solutions to enhance productivity.
- Impediment and Blocker Removal: Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
- Work collaboratively with teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Issue Escalation: Monitor team dynamics and project progress, escalating issues to
- leadership when necessary to ensure timely resolution and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaboration with Sr. Scum Masters, Product Owners, Engineering Managers to cultivate and maintain an engaging and sustainable work environment.
- Facilitate open communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.).
- Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), or equivalent) are a plus.
- Track record of delivery by leading, coordinating and alignment of teams to secure business outcomes.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within a portfolio or multi-team environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, principles, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in using agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Power BI) for tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Effective facilitation skills at the team level; remains neutral, applies conflict management & establishes trust. Coaching and mentoring skills.
