Job Description
Role:
This is a r esearch & d evelopment (R&D) p ackaging role providing the opportunity to drive innovation, renovation, productivity, and maintenance projects. The candidate will be responsible for effectively crafting and performing tests , analyzing data, presenting results cross-functionally, and commercializing pipeline opportunities to meet business initiatives. This position requires an individual to independently manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently and demonstrate the ability complete work. Strong communication , leadership, and collaboration are essential in this rol e .
We have roles open on Elevate Growth, Elevate Business Continuity and Process & Pack.
Key components of the role:
  • Lead packaging development and consistently deliver results on all project types ( e.g., NPD, productivity , operations , and maintenance) from concept to commercialization

  • Act as the packaging lead and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution across multiple projects

  • Simultaneously lead multiple projects with complex scopes, demonstrating exceptional project management skills

  • Collaborate with technical authorities and leverage technologies and applications

  • Manage technical timelines, effectively identify and communicate issues and risks, and develop contingency plans

  • Conduct lab tests, pilot plant trials, and large-scale factory trials to optimize packaging performance within manufacturing facilities

  • Write detailed specifications to ensure consistent, high-quality products

  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or m aster's degree in Packaging, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related fields

  • 2-4 years of experience in packaging development and commercialization

  • In-depth understanding of packaging material interactions and functionality

  • Exceptional teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

  • Highly motivated problem solver with a drive to achieve objectives in a complex environment

  • Ability to plan and execute well-thought-out design experiments, anticipate next steps, and adjust course when facing challenges

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Outstanding prioritization and project management abilities

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new materials and processes rapidly

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Base Salary Range: $77,800-$97,300 USD

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
