Role and Responsibilities
Astralis’ Technical Architect partners closely with our customer’s technology and business stakeholders to define a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision, and strategy that drives best‑in‑class business outcomes. This role ensures that solution designs and system deliverables meet agreed‑upon acceptance criteria while overseeing the successful execution of all implementation deliverables.
Acting as a key liaison between our customers and internal delivery teams, the Technical Architect translates business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions that address core client needs. Ideal candidates bring hands‑on consulting experience with the Salesforce platform, enterprise integrations and data architecture to uphold best practices in technical design, documentation, and architectural governance.
Responsible for overall Salesforce technical architecture, design, custom development and implementation.
Lead customer architecture initiatives from inception to completion, collaborating with business stakeholders to create scalable architecture in alignment with business needs
Lead business and technology analysis and provide Salesforce domain expertise
Act as a technical subject matter expert for customers and provide best practice recommendations as necessary
Define and oversee data models, security architecture, API integrations (and performance optimization strategies
Lead the development and adoption of reusable architecture assets/solutions to improve Astralis delivery efficiency and customer time to value
Produce technical design, architecture and prioritization/level of effort documentation to aid effective and efficient project delivery
Qualifications
Solution snf Data Design: Architect scalable, performance-driven data models and integration strategies (including APIs, middleware, and ETL tools).
Conceptualize end to end integration projects & knowledge of authentication mechanisms.
Understands web services (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML), API/Governor limits and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.com
Knowledge, experience, and understanding of middleware applications (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.)
Security and Governance: Define platform security policies (e.g., SSO, OAuth, TLS) and manage Large Data Volumes
DevOps & Release Management: Understanding of Release Management, Application Lifecycle Management, Development Lifecycle, and Deployment Best Practices and Governance
Establish release management best practices, continuous integration (CI/CD), version control, and code quality governance.
Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management.
Significant knowledge of Salesforce's suite of products including Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (preferred)
Seven (7) years of applicable work experience (minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical architect role)
