Salesforce Administrator
Rapid7 is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our growing IT Application Management Team which is responsible for overall health, support and compliance of Rapid7 Tier one Salesforce SaaS platform and various associated integrations and tooling that currently exists on its framework. We need an experienced hands-on administrator for our Salesforce ecosystem who can work independently, solve customer problems, keep the application healthy and secure, has great written and verbal communication skills and be able to work cross functionally.
About the Team
The Application Management team is critical to running the business at Rapid7, supporting both internal and external customers . On a day-to-day basis this person will work as part of a cross functional teams to solve customer, business and security problems of varying complexity
About the Role
The ideal candidate is a self driven highly motivated individual having extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce administration and application support. This person should be able to work independently on time-sensitive issues, have great communication and collaboration skills and be curious and willing to constantly learn
In this role, you will:
- Provide operational support in solving real life problems involving the Salesforce ecosystem
- Collaborate with other internal application teams in triaging and fixing integration and data issues involving Salesforce
- Provide consultative guidance to various operational teams within Rapid7 to influence user behaviour and enable ways to faster time to resolution
- Provide data and reports to support compliance and audit related work on a periodic basis
- Work and contribute on projects that may involve, but not limited to, new app installations and integrations, data migrations and upgrades
- Periodically provide audit and compliance related evidence and support for the application
- Establish and maintain professional working relationship with various vendors as applicable
The skills you'll bring include:
- 2+ years as a Salesforce Administrator in an operational role as part of an enterprise IT technology team that works with a variety of business operations that supports Sales, Marketing, commercialisation, legal, customer success functions
- Ability to work independently, effective time management, curiosity, strong communication and relationship skills
- Ability to manage backlog of work and meet deadlines
- Developer mindset, whereby willing to identify and triage issues with potential long term fix
- The ability to work effectively with other engineers, business analysts, key stakeholders, application administrators and end users in solving complex problems
- Proven experience with Agile scrum methodology
- Strong work ethic and customer service mentality
- Experience in Salesforce CPQ a plus
- Experience with Integration frameworks involving Salesforce a plus
- Working knowledge with GITHUB integration a plus
