Join the company with the only open digital experience platform and lead Professional Services sales support efforts by helping maximize the value of Acquia Professional Services engagements to our customers and to Acquia. Work with a variety of different customers to define not only implementation requirements but training and package engagements that will make them and their partners successful on the Acquia Platform. Engage with customer prospects alongside Acquia Sales, Solutions Engineering and Account Management teams to effectively identify the compelling value of an engagement. Structure an approach and estimate the engagement for success, then ensure an effective transition to the Delivery team.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage multiple sales opportunities through a structured sales plan, efficiently managing cost of sale and optimizing the close rate of deals worked.
- Qualify PS opportunities based on a customer’s identified pain, “after scenarios,” positive business outcomes and required capabilities. Work with Solution Engineering and Sales teams to clarify these items where needed.
- Define engagements for customers and partners that ensure success on and adoption of the Acquia Platform.
- Work with Professional Services Technical Solutions Manager to elaborate assumptions and capabilities required from an implementation estimate and resource plan..
- Work with the customer to define a solution roadmap, identify and prioritize potential engagements, and clearly state minimum viable product.
- Create proposal assets summing the proposed engagement and Acquia products used, including solution summary and benefits, timeline, resource profile, assumptions, and cost. Assist Sales in compiling proposal documents.
- Provide sales support to achieve the business and technical win of the Acquia Platform
- Create Statements of Work detailing customer requirements and Professional Services deliverables.
- Manage handover of the project to the Professional Services Delivery team
Key requirements:
- 8+ years in Martech, Strategic Planning, Project Implementation, Consulting, and/or Pre-sales
- Prior experience defining and selling technology solutions to Fortune 500 customers
- Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into recommended solutions for the implementation team with full risk assessment.
- Experience presenting technology solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
