Account Manager – Gilt City
Gilt City, the local lifestyle site from Gilt, offers fine dining experiences, luxury spa treatments, and exclusive events amongst many others, that encourage members to love their city more. Headquartered in the heart of the Bryant Park NYC, Gilt City serves members nationwide. Our energetic team consists of motivated lifestyle experts who are passionate about providing unique experiences for Gilt City members all over the country.
The Account Manager will collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors to support the sales process for the Gilt City team and manage vendor relationships.
**This is a 6 month, fully remote position**
Responsibilities:
- Project manage the sales process and execute all sales/offers
- Act as point person for vendor relationships and for all internal contacts both pre- and post-sale (production, technology, creative, accounting, sales, marketing, customer support)
- Maintain vendor relationships and meets vendor marketing needs on an ongoing basis
- Create purchaser orders and invoices for vendor offers
- Manage the creative assets between the vendor and the Gilt City department
- Provide support to our customer service team to resolve member issues
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience or relevant internships, ideally in a sales/client relations environment
- Bachelors degree required
- Salesforce knowledge preferred
- Self-starter, ambitious in nature
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communicator with ability to garner “buy-in” on various projects
- Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of merchandising financials, retail math and the ability to manage profitability
- Ability to analyze reports, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Ability to remain flexible and willing to change strategies, as business needs dictate
- Ability to liaise effectively and create an exciting workplace
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts with tight deadlines and comfortable with ambiguity.
