About the role
The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the forecasting and business planning process, driving program-focused analytics, and accelerating usage of new technologies, techniques, & processes to better the organization. An ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of being resourceful, a self-starter, and have a passion for innovation and change.
The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will be joining the Sales Operations Team within the Business Operations and Finance organization. The Sales Ops team is relied on by the entire organization for global reporting around historical sales performance, pipeline, and planning. Our overall objective as part of the Business and Finance Operations organization is to drive pipeline generation, accelerate deal velocity, and enable our sales team to continue providing value to our customers in the most efficient way possible.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and work with cross-functional groups to implement these improvements.
- Translate business needs into research designs that generate actionable insights through professional reporting formats (presentation or written).
- Deliver sales analytics, dashboards, and reports to key stakeholders across revenue-generating functions and Finance.
- Involvement in many ad-hoc projects where you’ll be able to take ownership of different initiatives.
- Support the implementation of Sales productivity, planning, and reporting tools.
- Execute projects to improve our go-to-market operations.
- Build tools and reporting to evaluate team performance towards KPIs.
- Design, develop & deliver robust and scalable reporting around pipeline health and deal management.
About You:
- 4+ years of sales operations experience with strong analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of the role of a sales professional and the sales operations process
- Display strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, time-management skills, detail orientation, and ability to multitask
- Experience with using Salesforce required
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot
- Comfortable using Powerpoint or Google Slides to present insights to executives and partners
- Data-driven individual with strong business acumen and focus on analytical problem solving, data manipulation, and management skills
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a focus on learning with a continuous improvement mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Finance or equivalent experience
