Senior Manager, Business Development
Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. Thousands of companies use Bevi to sustainably provide their employees with pure, sparkling, and flavored water at work. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, we’ve raised over $60M in venture capital and we’re heavily investing in new product development.
We’re looking for a Boston-based Senior Manager to manage and grow our BDR (Business Development Representative) team. This individual will report directly to our VP of Marketing and will support our nationwide Sales team with a competitive, self-driven attitude and creative, analytical mindset. We have built a consistent and reliable sales model to rapidly expand across the country and are looking for a strategic leader to scale our opportunity pipeline and fuel growth.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty and will approach this role like a true Player-Coach. That means you will excel as an individual contributor and as a manager. You will be responsible for building the team from the ground up and implementing processes that you have demonstrated to work effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Use sales-enhancement software tools such as Salesforce, Linkedin, and email automation tools such as Apollo/Outreach.io.
- Generate outbound activity to uncover new opportunities for our Territory Sales Managers. This includes sending emails, making phone calls, and other methods of communication.
- Test various targeting criteria such as industry, region, company size, job title, etc. to identify and convert qualified leads.
- Demonstrate professional collaboration with an outside sales team to deliver a steady funnel of business opportunities.

- Experience with similar sales cycles - most notably B2B SaaS companies - is highly preferable.
- 4+ years of experience training, coaching and developing other reps.
- An entrepreneurial mindset. We’re looking for a self-starter with high operational acumen, looking to make a big impact in a quickly growing organization.
- Proactive, strong sense of ownership, and eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.
- Passion for our mission to eliminate plastic bottles and cans.
- Familiarity with data vendor tool functionality such as ZoomInfo, LeadIQ, a plus.
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree.
