Summary
Elevate Banking is a division of Leader Bank focused on working with high-net worth clients providing a personalized concierge banking experience. Although Elevate Banking has full access to the core products, services and resources of Leader Bank, the Relationship Manager works outside of the retail banking centers and will be required to drive business organically through referral sources and other networking opportunities.
The Elevate Banking Relationship Manager is tasked with growing and maintaining close relationships with clients and business partners. The Relationship Manager is responsible for cultivating and retaining relationships to help the team succeed and grow the bank’s deposits as well as provide other products and services to their clients.
Essential Duties
- Build and maintain close relationships with clients and business partners.
- Educate and present prospects, clients and partners on the benefits offered through Elevate Banking.
- Provide concierge service experience to clients, including but not limited to; responding quickly to client and partner inquiries, providing financial guidance and develop personalized banking solutions for high-net worth clients and business partners.
- Meet with clients and business partners in-person, virtually and through other networking opportunities, groups, events, etc. to build relationships and grow business.
- Identify potential business opportunities through external referral sources.
- Must work well individually and as a team to create strategies and marketing opportunities to help promote the brand.
Skills
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of bank policies and processes and provide quick and accurate responses to client and partner inquiries.
- Must maintain a high level of understanding of all products and services provided by the Bank.
- Must be fluent in banking with experience working with high-net worth clients.
- Sells and refers bank products and services within the guidelines established by the Bank.
- Skilled in reaching out to prospects and partners to grow business.
- Must maintain pipeline and actively manage prospect and client lists.
- Conducts business in a professional manner.
- Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with all personnel.
- Participates in community projects and organizations as requested. Demonstrates a willingness to accept added duties and responsibilities.
- Understands and adheres to security and compliance policies and procedures.
- Complies with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities include accurately completing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), adhering to the Customer Identification Program (CIP) Policy, reporting suspicious activity to your manager, and performing Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) checks.
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
Requirements Include
- Bachelor’s degree, CFP, CTFA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years private client/private banking experience.
- Existing book of deposit business 200M+ preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to think outside the box.
- Previous experience as a deposit manager or similar.
- Specialty product knowledge a plus.
- Independent contributor expected to manage own book of business as well as collaborate with team to retain and effectively manage current Elevate clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
- General computer knowledge a must with prior banking applications experience preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and poses a strong attention to detail.
