Sales Trainer
We’re looking for a Sales Trainer to support and enable our rapidly growing sales organization! Do you love teaching, coaching, and doing everything you can to make every sales rep successful? We’re looking for someone who can help us hire, onboard, and shape our ever-expanding team of world-class sales reps -- and who will do so with a palpable passion for sales and at a breakneck speed. If the idea of getting to spend every day running classroom sessions, delivering one-to-one coaching, shadowing calls, documenting concepts, creating videos, interviewing candidates, and running role plays in service of teaching and reinforcing the science of sales sounds good to you, then this is the job for you.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering training and providing reinforcement on the Drift sales process
- Working directly with and supporting new sales reps throughout their first several weeks on the job, including on call execution, deal pursuit, and CRM usage
- Assessing the sales skills of prospective candidates through interviews and role play exercises
- Developing reference materials in the form of internal blog posts, explainer videos, and curated playlists of recorded calls
- Measuring the impact of the programs you are helping to drive
- Serving as constant and enthusiastic support for our rapidly growing sales team
- Conducting and training first time leaders on call reviews and coaching
- Live, on-call coaching
About you and what type of skills you’ll need
- 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience across 2+ companies
- Experience teaching, coaching, and / or training in a sales context
- Ability to effectively and succinctly document ideas in both text and video format
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Experience interviewing and assessing talent
- Engaging and enthusiastic
- Passionate about sales, sales science, and helping people succeed
