Sales Operations Manager
The Sales Ops Manager will be responsible for working with all levels of management, including C-level executives, in a reporting and analytics role to optimize the business performance of our Global Sales organization. You will take a direct role in the compilation and presentation of data for the purposes of sales forecasting, key sales metrics, sales team activity, and potential market opportunity. You will use Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools to develop and maintain departmental reporting & dashboards to increase efficiency and aid the sales team.
Responsibilities:
Pipeline and Deal Analysis
- Drive data modeling and analysis, planning and support of the of the Sales, Marketing and Executive Staff
- Analyze and present data to high level decision-makers throughout the company
Forecasting
- Produce and deliver standard sales reports on a routine basis to support Sales & Marketing, and company’s operational initiatives
- Extract data from a variety of databases and perform detailed data analysis on internal processes and productivity
Reporting and Communication
- Input and create PowerPoint decks
- Support and develop data analysis frameworks that will support daily/weekly/monthly operational reporting and executive dashboards
- Identify data requirements for specific project or report requests.
Salesforce Data and Reporting
- Work with the Salesforce technical resources to enhance and curate our data content
- Support Salesforce-based reporting requests
- Provide and support ad-hoc reporting services for non-standard issues and analysis
Requirements:
- 5+ years related sales operations/analyst experience (preferably in a high growth/software tech firm)
- Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications experience
- Experience extracting data via Salesforce.com
- Experience designing, developing and scripting reports/dashboards in MS Excel at an expert level
- Proficient with VBA preferred
- Ability to act as an internal consultant, working with management to successfully design, develop, test and deliver large data modeling tools, and reports & dashboards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of business terms related to sales, marketing, technology, and finance is preferred
